Shelby County Trustee's Office Collects Record 97.43% of Current Year Property Taxes

Good Job

Shelby County Trustee, Regina Morrison Newman, is pleased to announce that the Trustee's Office has set an all-time property tax collection record of 97.43% of all 2020 tax billing, as of June 30, 2021.

The 97% mark has only been reached once before, which was when the Trustee's office set a record 97.12% two years ago.

The Trustee’s Office beat the County budget forecast for current year property tax collections in March, then beat the budget for all tax collections in June and has now hit an all-time record!
