MEMPHIS, Tenn. – The Shelby County Trustee and representatives from Regions Bank presented the Shelby County Schools Board of Education with a check for more than $208,000 at last night’s board meeting.
“It is always a pleasure to deliver monies back to Shelby County Schools,” said the Trustee. “With a school district as large as SCS, streamlining processes is important. We are pleased to work with Regions Bank and the administration at SCS to save time, money and resources for teachers and students.”
The Trustee’s Office, Regions Bank and Shelby County Schools worked together to administer an integrated payables service for the school system. This streamlines payment processing for the district, reducing costs and improving operations.
Since 2015, the district has earned a total of $939,000 in incentives through the integrated payables program.
