As one of the largest county treasuries in the State of Tennessee, we strive to provide you with the most efficient and convenient services possible. We are here to serve you and look forward to being of assistance.

Achievements:

In June of 2010, the Trustee’s Office received the National Association of Counties Achievement Award for Financial Management for the development and use of a Mobile Cashiering program this February. The County Commission acknowledged the award on June 21, 2010, with a Resolution honoring the office for its innovation. Our Mobile Cashiering program was also recognized by Government Technology magazine (www.govtech.com) in June. Through Mobile Cashiering, the Trustee is able to better serve the citizens by providing close-to-home, short-term payment locations such as libraries, churches, community and senior centers.

Record Setting Collections:

We are pleased to report that property tax collections for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2010 exceeded the County’s original forecast by over $46 million dollars. The office also set a new record for delinquent property tax collections!
